Christmas Donations

This year, Christmas Day falls on a Sunday.
There will be two collections in the parish:

The 1st Collection is the Sunday Collection which is shared between the parish and the priests. This means that 2/3 of the donations go to the Parish Account, and 1/3 of the donations go to the House Account (the priests).
The 2nd Collection is the so-called Christmas Offering. This collection goes straight to the House Account and any surplus of this account is regularly transferred to the Clergy Trust Fund, which looks after the priests in general, but especially after their retirement.
If you would like to offer a donation towards the purpose of the second collection, you can do so in 3 ways:

  1. Bill Payment
You can set up a bill payment for this occasion and put as reference “Offering” and your pledge/gifting number (if you have one).
East Coast Bays Parish, Account: 02-0108-0707702-000 (BNZ)
  2. Envelope
You can use one of the envelopes from the church foyers or any other envelope on which you clearly note “Offering” and your pledge/gifting number (if you have one).
  3. Collection
You can donate cash during the second collection at any of the Christmas Masses.

If you don’t have a pledge number yet and would like to get one, please get in touch with the office.

Many thanks.
